About

Dublin artist originally from county Laois, Artist Adrian has been living in the capital for over 20 years.

Like most artists, he has been drawing for as long as he can recall and contrary to popular belief not all artists but artists like me really struggled with the pandemic lockdown as he loves to get out and capture real-life themes (for the most part) as we were not happy to sit inside and find artistic inspiration from within the confines of home.

Artist Adrian sees himself as an artist first and foremost, essentially someone who creates and the type of art that he produce is for others to define. Artistic influences are many but the artists that fired his imagination from an early age were Salvador Dali, Caravaggio, Albrecht Durer and our own Jim Fitzpatrick.

Artist Adrian wants to create and cater for people who enjoy exciting visuals that have stories to tell. Original works vary in size, weight, medium and material makeup.

He loves exploring and as such he attempts to be as diverse as possible, if he were pushed to describe my style then he would probably use words like quirky, observational, colourful and impressionistic all pulled together with just the right amount of realism.

A bit of personal trivia; when Artist Adrian was in primary school he was often not allowed to attend art class as a form of punishment which only further fuelled his passion.
